Playlist - The Very Best Of Sir Mix-A-Lot

Available Now

You might think of proto-grunge rock when you think of late '80s and early '90's Seattle, but then you'd be missing out on Sir Mix-A-Lot. As virtually the only producer and MC to emerge from the city's micro hip-hop scene to worldwide status, Mix (born Anthony Ray) brings a freak sensibility to his sound, immortalized in such hits as "Posse On Broadway," My Hooptie," and the all-time classic "Baby Got Back." Also featured are five brand new bangin' cuts added to this must-own Playlist!"

Ant - This disc should of been 2-3 CDs. Man, where is GORTEX? CAKE BOY? Somethin' about my Benzo.... Game? Lockjaw? Monster Mack? Chief Boot Knocka? RIPPIN?? Been sleepin' with my Funk?

Just sayin, I grew up listening to you, quoting your songs, and I still know a lot of your lyrics. And Cake Boy STILL applies today!!!

Thank you for providing the boom playing out of my Alpine, which I bought because of "Seattle Ain't Bullshittin'" - NC

You're the best, man!

I’m talking with “Hot Shot Scott”, even though he and T-Man are off the air with KUBE Scott is with KJR now & I’m trying to see if he’d like to stop by the event & also if KUBE/KJR will give the event some shout out. I’ve also left Terry (Maha) a message about stopping by & even connecting me with a good lead for a bbq caterer. Our theme is a block party, we’ll have some local press coverage, possibly bigger if we get enough attention. Long story short I’ll fill you in more later… Check our agency website with it’s youtube video, I’m in it too  cocoonhouse.org hit me up if you get a chance lorrettaablrigh #425-239-9778

Hey Anthony- You may remember me Lorretta (you use to call me "L", I hung out with Terry years back). I’d love to touch base with you about an upcoming evet that the agency I work for is putting on for the program I manage, U-Turn drop-in center helps street dependent/homeless youth ages 13-21… What’s the best way of getting information to you to see if you’d consider supporting it? *I'm sending a second message*
